It said and showed that it was an apple brand product, but it wasnt. Thats why I picked this item but w.e it still works and i use it all the time. Got it quickly w/o any other problems. Thanks

I just got the cable in the mail today. So far, it has worked in both Windows and Mac with a Generation 5 iPod and an iPhone. The head is slightly larger than the Apple-sanctioned version, but otherwise it seems to be the same.

Although this may not directly be an Apple product, it gets the job done with a price you can almost steal it for. I would recommend to anyone needing this cable. Why waste more money on the apple cable?

This item is same as the Apple adapter which cost upwards of $20. You can buy several in case one breaks.
