Black DLO HipCase Folio for iPod touch
5 Stars Perfect
Just to be concise, this case fits the IPOD Touch perfectly. A nice leather case much like a thin wallet, and all connection points and controls are easy to get to. Has a clip on it for your belt and just overall works extremely well. No downside. I had gator like case for my last ipod, but the screen was getting scratched throwing it a backpack, gym bag etc. This case has a great flip cover with a magnet to keep it closed. Once you put it in the case, there really won’t be a need to take it out. This case works. Period. Do not hesitate to buy.
3 Stars Not bad, could be better
I just got this case, took about two weeks to ship with free shipping. It seems like a nice case, but my main concern is that the belt clip does not detach. Not sure why I thought it would, but it adds almost a half an inch to the thickness of the whole thing. If I had known, I would have gotten one without a belt clip. Otherwise, it’s a nice case. Not sure how much I’ll use it.
3 Stars Not So Great
The DLO HipCase is OK, but not so great. I would not recommend this product if you have fat fingers and/or type a lot on your ipod.
PROS
—————-
The leather is nice.
The stitching on the one I received seems fine.
And, I like the fact that it flips open, because I feel like it offers nice protection for the ipod.
CONS
—————
Unfortunately, (as another reviewer mentioned) the leather on the borders gets in the way and makes it difficult to type on the keyboard when the device is vertical. After a week of struggling to get the “p” key to work (on the edge of your Qwerty keyboard), I switched to a different case (Tumi T-Tech Hard Skin Case) and I now type with ease.
5 Stars LOVE LOVE this case!!
I LOVE this case!! this is the second one I have bought. I got one for my ipod classic and one for my ipod touch.
I like that they are firm enough to carry in my purse and it protects the screen and buttons. i like that it has the magnetic closure to keep the flap closed. it also has a belt clip which is great to hook to your pocket or jeans.
this is the only case that i have for my ipods, and i wouldnt buy anything else!!
5 Stars Quality Case for the iPod Touch
I just ordered this case with the new iPod Touch a few days ago. After using it for a brief period, I can say that I definitely am glad that I ordered this case.
The rich, soft leather looks and feels great with the added bonus of protecting your iPod Touch. The attached belt clip is very convenient for carrying around your iPod, and I’m glad they included it. The case is designed so that you can attach your USB cable and earphones without taking the iPod Touch out of the case. The front cover is held in place by magnets which works great and means you don’t have any unsightly snaps or flaps to deal with. When you open the case the flap just swings around to the back and doesn’t interfere with any operations you need to perform. It’s thick enough, yet light, so that if you drop your iPod it will be well protected.
Bottom line is I recommend this case very highly. Don’t bother with the cheap cases. You get what you pay for and I think this is good value for the money.
Saw this article on Scifi.com featuring a solar powered rechargeable batteries device. This device allows users to charge their dead batteries for FREE. Why, as it uses the energy from the sun’s solar rays to be converted as energy into the rechargeable batteries.
This is a cool product, as you can bring it anyway like camping or soldiers could use it at the field as you don’t need an electrical outlet but a bright shiny sun. It takes around 6 hours for charging up the battery cells. It would be a nice product if someone manage to integrate the solar cells with a backpack or bag. So users can charge as their batteries along the way.
