2 Stars For Emergency Use Only
This charger works, but only marginally. The charge speed is slow, and the cord is incredibly short. I keep it in my car for those emergencies where my phone is literally about to die, but that’s about it.
FYI, I ordered it from A1 Accessories. It was listed as new, but shipped in a plastic bag instead of the box. It looks used as well. I would suggest purchasing it directly from Amazon.
4 Stars Replacement works fine
The first charger that I received from A1Accessories was completely defective – it seemed as though the pins were misaligned, and it wasn’t able to charge the iPod for more than a second or two before losing contact.
I immediately contacted A1Accessories, however, and by 4:00pm they sent me a replacement (without me having to pay shipping, luckily). The receipt indicated that they had hand-tested the charger, and when I tried it out, it worked fine! The indicator light glows red when receiving power and orange while charging, and it worked perfectly on my iPod Classic and iTouch (2G). Although the coiled cord is quite small (about 8 inches unstretched, and very tight when stretched – which could be a strong deterring factor), I was able to stretch out the cord enough to fit my needs.
Because of A1Accessory’s expedient and confident replacement, I would probably say that few models are defective. I would recommend it if you’re looking for a cheap charger, and you can afford to keep your iPod close to the outlet.
5 Stars BEST iphone charger
i love it! its the best iphone charger you can find here!!
highly recommended!
2 Stars Charges much slower than power outlet, cord is too short.
Drove for 45 minutes with it connected to my 3G S the other night and showed only a negligible charge. Also the cord is irritatingly short, so much so that I could not rest the iPhone anywhere and it had to hang from the 9 volt port. I would not recommend this to anyone. I will only use it in emergencies.
Get a USB car adapter and use your included cable.
4 Stars It does the job and is inexpensive
It charges my iPhone 3G just fine. Does not heat up and has not bitten me. The cord is a bit short, but it is so very affordable.

Power Package contains a Rapid Car Charger, a home travel charger (110-240v) with IC Chip and is compatible with the Apple Iphone 3G 2nd Generation, Ipod Nano 4th 2nd Generation, IPod Touch 2ND Generation
1 Star Not iPod Touch 2nd Generation compatible
I was one of the unlucky ones who got a wall charger that it’s advertised as 2G compatible, but it just makes my iPod goes “crazy” when I connect this crappy charger. By crazy, I mean, it goes off and on repeatedly like it was being disconnected and connected back again from the wall outlet and it never stops. This is for the wall charger only, but I’m not so willing now to even try the car charger after this mishap. I guess the “you get what you paid for” phrase is ringing loudly through my ears…
1 Star Works Great, If you don’t want to use it more than once…
Read ALL the reviews – you get what you pay for! It looks like junk and trust me please, it IS junk. I used the home outlet charger ONCE and it charged my 2nd Gen iPod quickly, but then I went to remove it from the outlet. One of the prongs broke off IN my outlet! Luckily there was enough metal sticking out that, once I shut off the breaker, I was able to pull out the metal prong. I’ve yet to use the car charger, but you can imagine how much faith I have in its repeated use… AVOID!
1 Star Can we please make this simple!
Works for my iPod nano, but not on my 80 GB iPod Classic. Cheap is not always better!
4 Stars ipod charger
Rapid chargers are very useful. one for the home, one for the car, never run out of battery again. Charges in no time.
5 Stars I’m with 6 Appeal
I read the review of 6 appeal who said that they were worried about whether this would work with the ipod touch2nd gen. I was in the same boat, but I followed their advice and I’m just as pleased as punch. For the price, it just can’t be beat.
