It’s the new year and I believe there are some websites reporting about web 3.0. But I thought why not compile a list of web 2 applications that I have been using for 2006 and some web 2.0 applications that I might try in 2007.
Here’s the list of web 2 applications
Del.icio.us – Social bookmarking site, love it for making bookmarking so simple and easy. Plus I think the url is simply cool
Stumbleupon.com – A great tool to find new websites that you never imagine exists online. I found several get websites here.
Pageflakes.com – Allows users to customize their front page to pull in information from around the web. I didn’t really use this site, but I thought it might be good to mention.
Ajax13.com – Web Office application that I haven’t tried. But I tried Google SpreadSheets and Google Word (writely) they are ok for normal usage. Not sure about this Ajax13, might give it a shot in future.
Linkin.com – Professional Social Network, I feel this site has a big future. Linkin helps professionals socialize virtually and make new connections and business deals.?Ǭ† A tip for friendster would be to follow Linkin, after all the college students in friendster will have to come out to the workforce sooner or later.
It’s Christmas weekend, sorry I couldn’t update much news these few days so I thought I just do a quick and dirty summary of some interesting tech news that I thought would be fun to mention. So here we go…

Red Hat: Earnings up, customers in, competitors out
Hohoho Red Hat has it’s earnings heading towards the sky cool eh. Now I wonder if Red Hat would be able to make head way in to the consumer market and erode MS market share? I need to get an alternative before I format my HDD ![]()
That’s all for now. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year all ![]()
