Hmm there are talks that Novell might be banned from selling the latest Linux (opensource operating system) due to the latest deal they had with Microsoft which would see both companies license each others IPs and also promote each other’s software.
The open source foundation is currently reviewing to see if they should ban novell from selling the latest Linux OS, a verdict would be out in 2 weeks time. Some analysts says that if the ban is in place, it would cause some harm to Novell as they would need to spend additional money to research and develop new operating system addons.
