Oh, how I heart this week’s photo hunt theme . . . words . I am a little obsessed with all things words . . . sayings, quotes, stories, letters and shoot them quite regularly. Now, if only I had them all in one neat, tidy folder on my laptop! I’ve chosen a few photographs that I especially enjoy and have a certain fondness for. Happy weekend to one and all!


For the past few days Jeff Schewe (the publisher of PhotoshopNews and general all-around image processing maven) and I have been holed up in a secret location (my summer cottage) along with director / cameraman Chris Sanderson. We have just completed filming our Lightroom Beta 3 Tutorial for Windows and OSX. Yes ?¢‚Ǩ‚Äú you read that right. A Lightroom Beta for Windows. It is coming!

A post in The Luminous Landscape is hinting at the release of Adobe’s Lightroom beta for Windows, aparrently they have just finished filming for a tutorial for Lightroom beta 3. I’ve run the MacOSx version and all I can it’s a great application.

I like the way it allows control over the editing of photographs, and yes they read RAWs super fast as well giving quick control over the editing of images.

Looks like it’s coming, well keep your fingers crossed.
