Microsoft Office 2010 is coming. In fact, today we received word that the online suite, called Web Apps, will in fact be free. A semi-private beta test of Office 2010 begins today. With nearly-free competition coming from Google , Apple and Adobe , Microsoft really had no choice when it came to offering the product suite for free. The new apps, which include Word, PowerPoint, Excel and OneNote, will be available to anyone who has a Windows Live account. Here is the official press
