In the case where a direct Bluetooth connection was tested (Calisto headset without the USB Adapter), the audio input did not provide sufficient quality for accurate speech recognition.
Jay,. I'm a little confused about the Calisto with the USB adapter. What sort of USB adapter is it? All Intel Macs already have Bluetooth, so a Bluetooth adapter seems superfluous. Is there some other reason why this adapter is ...
The classy-looking FMP3 watch does exactly what it says on the pack – MP3 (and WMA) audio playback through either headphones or via the built-in FM transmitter to a nearby radio. What could be cooler? File transfer is simple – just connect the watch to a PC or Mac with the supplied USB adapter and it’s ready to go. No software or driver installation is necessary. Since the flash memory in the watch is displayed as a removable drive, simply drag and drop your MP3s to copy them to the watch

3 Stars Might be a knockoff
Just ordered two of these. They seem to work, though they get a bit warm when plugged in.

They look very similar to the one that came with my iPhone 3GS. However, it has none of the official printing on the bottom that my apple one has. No U/L logo, no serial number. No bright green dot. Nothing, completely blank. I smell a knockoff. Be aware.

3 Stars Proper charging adapter, no cable, smudges – doesn’t seem new
I got the product that was advertised – an Apple USB Power Adapter. No cable, but there wasn’t one listed in the product description so I wasn’t really expecting one. The product came sealed in a plastic bag, but it had smudges on it, kind of like what would be left on your hands after using glue for a while. I suppose it could be new, but it makes me wonder. It did not come in Apple packaging and it did not come with a USB cable. I guess that’s what you get when trying to pay less. At least I had two USB cables already.

UPDATE – on re-reading the product description it does say a cable comes in the box. I don’t know if I should pursue this with the vendor or just be happy that I already had 2 cables to use.

5 Stars works as good as Apple
I paid ten bucks for this and it works as good as the what what is sold at the Apple store.

3 Stars Apple USB Power Adapter
The device works properly. The shipping was a problem. It took 4 weeks to arrive. It was supposed to be here before the end of May, but didn’t arrive until June 9. I ordered in plenty of time for a trip and it arrived the day we came home from the trip.

1 Star No cable, Not as Pictured, No green dot
This adapter, contrary to its description DID NOT come with an adapter cable. The adapter shipped to me DOES NOT have the correct green light dot, as pictured in the description

4 Stars cord
It said and showed that it was an apple brand product, but it wasnt. Thats why I picked this item but w.e it still works and i use it all the time. Got it quickly w/o any other problems. Thanks

5 Stars it worked, and that is all that matters to me
I just got the cable in the mail today. So far, it has worked in both Windows and Mac with a Generation 5 iPod and an iPhone. The head is slightly larger than the Apple-sanctioned version, but otherwise it seems to be the same.

5 Stars Fast Shipper
Exactly what I ordered and needed!!! Got here really quick too!!!

I’m one happy customer!

5 Stars Not an Apple product but does the same job
Although this may not directly be an Apple product, it gets the job done with a price you can almost steal it for. I would recommend to anyone needing this cable. Why waste more money on the apple cable?

5 Stars iphone connector
This item is same as the Apple adapter which cost upwards of $20. You can buy several in case one breaks.

I mentioned back in September 2007 that cell phone manufacturers were looking to replace their varied connectors with Micro USB meaning most cell phones would use the same chargers and accessories. MacRumors points to a Reuters report that Apple has also agreed to go Micro USB in Europe, which presumably means the US as well. I personally doubt Apple will just ditch the 30 pin dock connector in favor of Micro USB . I suspect Apple will either bundle a Dock to Micro USB adapter
