BBC has this report saying that creative wins the Mp3 player patent from apple. “Creative said the patent applied to its players, as well as some competing products such as the Apple’s iPod and iPod mini.” Hmm i wonder how such stuff can be patented, the way the file is being organise in a mp3 player.

I really wonder can such common stuff be a sole property belonging to an individual or a company. Just seems so wrong something so that may benefit all humans way of organising files in a player could be chargable.
