Microsoft has developed and new keyboard that allows us to experience their operating system differently. Developed to meet styling design needs, the keyboard looks sleek with a futuristic Star Trek kind of console look.
It allows users to iteract with it with a backlight that sense when you dim/off the lights and when you leave the room. In simple terms the backlight comes on when the lights are dimmed and go off when you leave the room with the lights dimmed.
Wireless is good for up to 30 feet and features a authentic metal accents, which of course allows them to probably charge you more for that (price not available at press time). I’m guessing it to be within the USD$150 – USD$200 range.
At the bottim it spots a Vista button and is suppose to allow you to experience Vista better so I guess it will lauch a little while before Vista goes retail. My guess it uses bluetooth for connectivity and over the air charging.
At least we know for a Wireless Backlit Keyboard, it’s a World’s 1st.
